A 280 KG (600 lbs) Magnetic Lock (Maglock) is an electromagnetic door lock used in access control systems. How It Works With Your Access System

A maglock is not a mechanical lock — it’s purely electromagnetic.
 When the access controller (fingerprint reader, card reader, keypad, etc.) grants access, it cuts power to the maglock (fail-safe), allowing the door to open.
The maglock locks automatically when power is applied.

You’ll typically connect your:

• Access controller

• Exit push button

Installation & Mounting

• Usually surface mounted with the magnet on the door frame and the armature plate on the moving door.

• For glass doors, you’ll use special brackets (U/Z/L-type).
