Product Description

A touchless exit button (also called a no-touch or wave-to-exit switch) is a contactless exit control device used in access control systems. It uses infrared (IR) proximity sensors to detect a hand or motion near the device — without physical contact — and triggers the door to unlock (e.g., releases a maglock, door strike or lets the access controller open the door) when a person wants to exit. This enhances hygiene and convenience, particularly in high-traffic or sanitary environments like hospitals, offices, labs, and malls.

Touchless Infrared Detection

• Uses IR proximity sensor technology to detect hand motion within a short range (typically 3–15 cm).

• No physical pressing required — just wave your hand.

• Ideal for hygiene-focused environments.

Power & Outputs

• Operating voltage: DC 12 V (some units also support 24 V).

• Output: Dry contact relay — usually NO (Normally Open), NC (Normally Closed), and COM (common). This dry contact output lets you wire it to access controllers, magnetic locks, electric strikes, or exit release inputs easily.

LED Indicator

Most units include LED feedback to show the sensor status:

✔ Activated — often green or change of LED color when the sensor detects hand movement
