The ABT 200 Beam Sensor is a professional dual-beam active infrared perimeter security detector designed to protect large outdoor and indoor areas. It consists of a transmitter and receiver that create two invisible infrared beams between them. When both beams are interrupted simultaneously, the sensor activates its alarm output. This dual-beam design helps reduce false alarms caused by birds, leaves, or other small objects.

How it works

The transmitter sends two synchronized infrared beams toward the receiver. Under normal conditions, the receiver continuously detects both beams. If an intruder crosses the protected area and interrupts both beams, the sensor changes the relay state and sends an alarm signal to a connected alarm/control panel.
