Product Description

The ABT 30 Beam Sensor is a dual-beam active infrared perimeter security detector designed to detect unauthorized movement across a protected area. It consists of a transmitter and receiver that create two invisible infrared beams between them. When an intruder interrupts both beams simultaneously, the receiver activates its alarm output and can send a signal to an alarm control panel or other security equipment.

How it works

The transmitter continuously sends two infrared beams toward the receiver. When both beams remain intact, the system stays in its normal state. If a person crosses the protected zone and breaks both beams, the receiver detects the interruption and changes the alarm relay state. Using two beams helps reduce false alarms caused by smaller objects such as leaves or birds.
