The MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN is a compact, high-performance Gigabit router built for advanced home networks, small to medium businesses, enterprise edge deployments, and home labs. Powered by a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A72 processor running at up to 1.4GHz, it delivers exceptional routing, firewall, VPN, and traffic management performance in a space-saving desktop form factor.

Designed for high-speed networking, the RB5009UG+S+IN features seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, and one 10G SFP+ port for fiber connectivity, providing flexible options for modern wired networks. All Ethernet ports are connected through a high-performance Marvell switch chip with a dedicated 10Gbps full-duplex link to the CPU, ensuring maximum throughput and minimal bottlenecks.

The router is equipped with 1GB DDR4 RAM and 1GB NAND storage, running RouterOS v7 with a Level 5 license, enabling advanced networking capabilities such as dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF, RIP), VLANs, VPNs, firewalling, Quality of Service (QoS), load balancing, MPLS, IPv6, hotspot services, and bandwidth management. A USB 3.0 Type-A port allows connection of external storage or LTE modems for additional functionality.

The RB5009UG+S+IN supports three independent power input options—PoE-in on Ethernet port 1, a DC power jack, and a 2-pin terminal connector—providing flexible installation and power redundancy. Its robust metal enclosure acts as a passive heatsink, eliminating the need for cooling fans and ensuring silent, reliable operation even under heavy workloads. Up to four RB5009 units can be mounted side-by-side in a single 1U rack space using the optional rackmount kit, making it ideal for space-constrained installations.
