The Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam PBE-5AC-Gen2 is a high-performance 5GHz wireless bridge designed for long-range Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) applications. Featuring a 25 dBi integrated directional dish antenna and Ubiquiti's advanced airMAX ac technology, it delivers wireless throughput of up to 450+ Mbps, making it ideal for connecting buildings, extending networks across campuses, supporting ISP customer premises equipment (CPE), and providing reliable broadband links over distances of up to 25 km with clear line of sight. Its highly focused beam design minimizes interference and maximizes signal strength, ensuring stable, high-capacity wireless communication.

The PowerBeam Gen 2 incorporates InnerFeed® technology, which integrates the radio directly into the antenna feedhorn to eliminate RF cable losses and improve overall performance. It operates across the 5GHz frequency band (5150–5875 MHz) and features a Gigabit Ethernet port with 24V passive PoE for simplified installation using a single Ethernet cable for both power and data. The device also includes a dedicated Wi-Fi management radio, allowing quick setup and configuration through the UISP Mobile (formerly U-Mobile) app without interrupting the wireless link. Running airOS® 8, it offers advanced features such as airMAX ac protocol support, automatic channel selection, adjustable channel widths, WPA2 security, and real-time RF analysis for optimized network performance.

Built for demanding outdoor deployments, the PBE-5AC-Gen2 features a rugged, UV-resistant enclosure, enhanced surge protection, and a robust pole-mount design capable of withstanding wind speeds of up to 200 km/h.
