The Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam M5 (PBE-M5-400) is a high-performance 5GHz outdoor wireless bridge designed for long-range Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) network deployments. Featuring a 25 dBi high-gain directional dish antenna, it delivers reliable broadband connectivity with throughput of 150+ Mbps, making it ideal for connecting buildings, extending enterprise networks, supporting ISP customer premises equipment (CPE), and providing high-speed wireless links over distances of 25 km or more with a clear line of sight. Its focused beam pattern minimizes interference and enhances signal strength, ensuring stable and efficient wireless communication.

The PowerBeam M5-400 incorporates Ubiquiti's InnerFeed® technology, which integrates the radio directly into the antenna feed to eliminate RF cable losses and improve overall signal performance. Operating across the 5GHz frequency range (5170–5875 MHz), it supports airMAX TDMA technology, which reduces latency, increases network capacity, and improves spectral efficiency in high-density wireless environments. The device includes a Gigabit Ethernet port with 24V passive PoE, allowing both power and data to be delivered through a single Ethernet cable for simple and cost-effective installation. Running airOS®, it provides advanced features such as real-time RF analysis, channel management, QoS, WPA2 security, and comprehensive wireless network monitoring.

Built for demanding outdoor installations, the PBE-M5-400 features a rugged UV-stabilized polycarbonate enclosure, 24kV ESD/EMP protection, and a durable pole-mount system designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, including wind speeds of up to 200 km/h (125 mph). With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and a maximum power consumption of just 8W, it delivers dependable, energy-efficient performance in challenging environments.
