The Ubiquiti NanoStation loco M2 (LOCOM2) is a compact, cost-effective 2.4GHz indoor/outdoor wireless CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) designed for Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) wireless networking. Powered by Ubiquiti airMAX® TDMA technology, it delivers wireless throughput of up to 150+ Mbps, making it ideal for connecting remote buildings, extending networks, providing wireless broadband access, CCTV backhaul, and rural connectivity. Operating in the 2.4GHz frequency band, the NanoStation loco M2 offers reliable performance in environments where longer-range 2.4GHz coverage is preferred.

The device features an integrated 8.5 dBi dual-polarized directional MIMO antenna with a 60° beamwidth, providing strong signal performance while minimizing interference. It is powered by a 400MHz Atheros MIPS processor and includes 32MB SDRAM, 8MB Flash memory, and a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port with 24V Passive PoE, allowing both power and data to be delivered over a single Ethernet cable for simplified installation. Running airOS®, the NanoStation loco M2 offers advanced features including bridge mode, router mode, QoS, VLAN support, WPA2 security, traffic monitoring, and intuitive web-based configuration for easy deployment and management.

Designed for reliable outdoor operation, the NanoStation loco M2 features a durable UV-resistant weatherproof enclosure, low power consumption of just 5.5W, and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +75°C.
